From savoring dim sum at Le Fu and exploring the flavors at Ka Won Seng Jia Wang Cheng to browsing Asian markets and indulging in treats from the Chinese Bakery, this area offers a unique and immersive experience. For a visual tour of Viaducto’s hidden Chinatown and more on my personal discoveries, check out the full video linked below.

2024: Visiting Dangerous Acapulco in Guerrero as an American: Our Experience Post-Hurricane Otis
Acapulco, located in Guerrero, is known for its challenges, including violence and hurricane damage. Our budget-friendly van ride from Mexico City was initially uneasy but turned out well. Upon arrival, we observed Hurricane Otis's aftermath—worn buildings and scattered debris—yet the city’s resilience shone through. We navigated the city’s challenges, from finding a taxi to exploring the vibrant Zocalo. Despite the hurricane’s impact, our stay at the well-maintained Casa Blanca Grand offered comfort. Discovering the lively beach and bustling markets enriched our Acapulco experience, showcasing both the city's recovery and its enduring charm.
